MEMBERA wide range of materials is available to cater for most applications and conditions of operation. External influences such as hot shavings, heavy volumes of water and special cooling agents are to be taken into account.
All types of elastic bellows are produced in single layered material, either thermally sealed or stitched/sewn. Our thermally sealed elastic bellows are absolutely water and liquid resistant. Through a unique process we create an indestructible connection between the inside PVC-frame and the outside bellow-material. The thermally sealed elastic bellows offer excellent resistance, an absolutely liquid-proof surface, low weight and fast travel speeds.
Another possibility especially for high-temperature applications, is our stitched design. We create an indestructible, very solid connection between the PVC-frame and the bellow material. By using special materials (e.g. Kevlar) for the stitched seams we can guarantee excellent high-temperature durability. Thermically sealed or stitched, two smart ways to create a perfect bellow for almost any application. Combine them with stainless steel or aluminum plates and you will get our famous SAMURAIβ’ plated bellows.
Metal fixing frames, snap fasteners or velcro tape can be supplied within the dimensions of the bellow or to suit special applications.

Thermically sealed ELASTIC bellows are made of synthetic fabric with polyurethane or PVC coating. They are resistant against oil, water and partly against acids. They are equipped with a PVC-guiding frame in each fold. This ensures a smooth and even movement. A long lasting service life is guaranteed even for high traverse speeds on linear guides.

Purpose: The flange serves as the attachment point for the bellows cover. It is fixed to both the protective curtain or the punched stiffener on one side and to the guideway on the other.
Material: Typically made from sheet metal, but other materials, shapes, thicknesses, and mounting methods are available upon request.
Purpose: This PVC board provides support for the inside of the protective curtain. It reduces friction between the curtain and the slideway, offering rigidity and impact resistance.
Material: Made from wear-resistant plastic with self-lubrication properties.
Thickness: Available in 0.5, 0.8, 1.0, 1.5, and 2.0 mm. Note: Increased thickness may affect the compressed size of the protective curtain.
Material: Standard material is eco-friendly and offers a long service life.
Color: Available in yellow or white on one side upon request.
Construction: The curtain and stiffener are securely welded together, eliminating sewing lines and holes.
Features: Excellent water and oil resistance.
Thickness: Variable based on environmental temperature, machining conditions, and chemical reactions.
Purpose: Prevents over-extension of the corrugation, particularly useful for fast moving speeds, vertical movement, or large-scale protective curtains.
